Located in the main nave of the Pietat Church in Vic, it is dedicated to the life and work of the Vic-born painter Marià Colomer i Parés (1743-1831), one of the last artists to express himself using the aesthetic codes of the Baroque style.
His work, until now little known, reflects the intense activity of a painting workshop amid the political, social, and economic growth of the city of Vic and its diocesan parishes from the second half of the 18th century to the early decades of the 19th century.
