The STAGNUM festival was born in 2009 as a small music festival held at the Santa Maria de l’Estany monastery. 17 years later, it is still going strong and has expanded and improved its cultural offerings, professionalizing the festival’s vibe and adding other activities alongside the concerts.

The festival’s cultural program is the result of cooperation between the Estany Town Council and the Albergueria – Cultural Diffusion Center of the Diocese of Vic, with collaboration from the Vic Town Council since 2025.

This year, the presentation of STAGNUM.26 will take place in the Gothic Cloister of the Cathedral of Sant Pere de Vic, with a free concert to close it.
